Kristin Fisher has joined CNN in July 2021, as CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent. In her new position she is responsible for covering everything from NASA and the recently created Space Force, to commercial companies in space and the rise in space travel. Kristin's parents were both NASA astronauts. Kristin spent her childhood in space, and she has since employed as an White House reporter for FOX News, covering both the Biden and Trump administrations regarding space-related issues. While covering the impeachment trials of two presidents, 2020's Presidential Campaign, as well as both administrations' efforts to stop the spread of coronavirus, Kristin covered a lot of other things. Former president Donald Trump traveled to Afghanistan in a trip that was highly restricted.
